CLASS Workshops on Conquering Procrastination, Approaching Exams Mindfully Available in English and Mandarin

The Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS) offers one-hour mindfulness workshops that can help students who are struggling with procrastination or looking to reduce stress before a big exam. Open to all students, sessions in both English and Mandarin are available on Zoom throughout the months of October and November and into the beginning of December as the University approaches fall semester final exams. Workshop 1: Conquer Procrastination by Tackling Assignments Mindfully

Having trouble starting, continuing or finishing an upcoming class assignment or project? Procrastination is common, especially when it comes to work we worry about or believe will take a lot of time. Students can join this workshop to learn simple mindfulness techniques that reduce stress and make it easier to tackle any academic assignment they’ve been postponing.

Workshop 2: Reduce Stress By Approaching Your Next Exam Mindfully

Anxiety can make it difficult to concentrate during exams. This workshop will help students identify short mindfulness techniques to use before and during tests and offer multiple strategies that can be tailored by students to fit their goals.
