The Syracuse University experience connects coursework to careers. Starting during their first semester, students are immersed in professional development events and resources, preparing them for internships while building skills that result in post-graduation confidence and a toolkit to face evolving career landscapes today and throughout their careers.

The events offered during the Fall 2026 Career Week meet students where they are, and by hosting welcoming opportunities to strengthen resumes, network and practice elevator pitches, there’s something for everyone. Not sure about attending?

“Go anyway. You don’t have to be actively looking for a job or internship to get something out of a career event. You can ask questions, learn about an industry, practice talking to professionals or discover an opportunity you didn’t even know you would be excited about,” says Miracle Gross G’27. “You don’t have to enter a career event knowing exactly what you want to do with your life. You’re allowed to be curious, ask questions and figure things out as you go.

Fall 2026 Career Week

“Syracuse University offers so many ways to speak with and connect with employers. The opportunity to connect with companies that are currently hiring and to learn what they are looking for in candidates is very exciting,” says Mirren Grimason ’29. “In my opinion, one of the best ways to learn how to do something is by actually doing.”
