Exclusive Fall-Only Programs
The fall semester offers unique study abroad opportunities for students across a wide range of academic disciplines and degree programs. With immersive learning experiences, integrated travel, and distinctive course offerings, the fall is the perfect time to broaden horizons and engage in transformative global learning.
The Santiago Center offers a full Spanish immersion semester, with courses in Spanish taken at local Chilean universities. With an optional pre-semester program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, students can experience the vibrant Argentine political culture, before traveling to Santiago to begin the semester. While there, students can experience the breathtaking views of Patagonia, Chilean coastlines and urban cities, while exploring rich Latin American culture.
The Exploring Central Europe program is offered exclusively in the fall and is based in Wrocław, Poland. Students become part of a traveling learning community that journeys through the heart of Central Europe, visiting cities such as Prague, Berlin and other nearby locations throughout the semester. As action researchers, participants explore historical sites connected to World War II, the Holocaust and Soviet totalitarianism while studying politics, international relations, history, human rights and atrocity studies.
Second- or third-year students on a Pre-Health track or studying biology, biochemistry, or chemistry are encouraged to explore Madrid Center: Health and Science. This program combines a range of STEM based courses and extracurricular activities with Spanish culture.
In partnership with the College of Engineering and Computer Science, students can set their sights on a semester abroad through Strasbourg Center: Engineering. First semester, second-year students studying aerospace, bio, civil, computer, electrical, environmental or mechanical engineering can take required degree courses while learning at the INSA, a top-rated engineering university in France.
