Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion Mary Grace A. Almandrez to Host Open Office Hours for Spring Semester
The University community is invited to share ideas, issues and opportunities regarding diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) during open office hours with Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion Mary Grace A. Almandrez this spring.
All members of the University community—students, faculty and staff—are encouraged to stop by and discuss their thoughts with Almandrez, who began in her role last summer and leads the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
The open office hours are on the following dates:
- Thursday, Jan. 26: 1:30-3 p.m., 119 Euclid
- Thursday, Feb. 16: 1:30-3:30 p.m., Intercultural Collective
- Thursday, March 23: 1:30-3:30 p.m., Shaw Center
- Wednesday, April 26: 3-5 p.m., Center for Disability Resources
“I invite members of the University community to drop by and share their concerns or areas of opportunities for the University in the area of DEIA,” Almandrez says. “I want to further understand ways we can continue to make the University a more welcoming place.”
