Ongoing Competition to Redesign the City of Syracuse's Flag
Do you have an idea for the next flag for the City of Syracuse?
The Syracuse Flag Initiative is accepting designs through Feb. 17, and members of the University community are invited to submit their unique designs for consideration. Submissions are being accepted online or through the mail.
Winn Wasson, social sciences librarian, and Neal Powless, ombuds, are both volunteers on the Syracuse Flag Initiative and will be holding an informational session (open to the public) encouraging students, faculty and staff to learn more about the Syracuse Flag Initiative and submit their design ideas.
The campus information sessions will be held at 5 p.m. on Jan. 25 and Feb. 2 in Bird Library, Room 114. For more information, go to https://syracuseflag.com.
