- Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) Begins: Syracuse University community members are invited to join in raising awareness and fostering a supportive environment for Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April. There will be a number of events held throughout the month for the campus community to come together and engage in meaningful conversations, educational initiatives and programs to address the impact of sexual assault on individuals and communities. SAAM kicks off on Monday, April 1, with a special keynote series, “What Can I Do?” Conversations to End Sexual Assault.
