- Generative AI and the Future of Humanity Lecture: Tomorrow, March 6, the University welcomes data scientist and artificial intelligence (AI) expert Rumman Chowdhury as the speaker for the 2024 Spring Lecture. She’ll discuss how AI will impact the lives of students, what policymakers have missed that will significantly affect students and what bearing AI will have on the upcoming U.S. election cycle. This event is free and open to the public, but a ticket will be required for entry.
- Green Innovation Competition Registration: The Green Innovation Competition is seeking proposals from the student body to identify a sustainability problem on campus, suggest an innovative, creative and feasible solution to the relevant University department and pitch your proposal at a poster symposium to sustainability expert judges. The winning proposal will be forwarded to the appropriate University department, and a grant of $15,000 will be allocated to the department for addressing and implementing the winning idea. Registration is open to all undergraduate students and closes on Friday, March 8.
