During Latine Heritage Month (LHM), Belonging and Student Success and various campus partners will host an array of programs and events for the Syracuse University community to attend as an opportunity to learn more and celebrate a wide range of Latine cultures. Celebrations kick off with the LHM Fair and Opening Ceremony on Monday, Sept. 15, in the Schine Student Center Atrium, and throughout the month, students, faculty and staff have opportunities to learn more about the history, culture and contributions of Americans whose ancestry can be traced to over 20 Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America and their neighbors. Celebrations include performances, networking events, sporting events, information sessions and more! You can explore the month’s full calendar of events, and read on for some highlights!
