Each year, the Division of Enrollment and the Student Experience seeks students of all years and majors to serve on the Student Advisory Council.  The council members provide input, insight and recommendations on components of the student experience, from health and wellness, to diversity and inclusion, to campus safety, to communications and more.

We asked Yousr Dhaouadi ’17, G’22, a member of the Student Advisory Council, to share three reasons why you should join:

  1. Being a member allows you to speak of your direct concerns if you feel you have a unique perspective on campus.
  2. It also allows you to learn about the different ways faculty and staff across campus can help, and translating that to our groups/organizations.
  3. You can hear feedback of students from various degree programs across campus, and how we can relate to them.

Interested in sharing your experience and perspective? The Student Advisory Council application is now open! Apply by Wednesday, Sept. 15.
