Now that New York State opened eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine to anyone aged 16 years or older, many of us are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine! There’s probably a ton of excitement and likely a few questions. So here’s what you need to do to stay informed!
Check the Stay Safe webpage and your email frequently!
The Get Vaccinated section of the University’s Stay Safe webpage will have all of the information you need to know on registering for an appointment and submitting proof of vaccination. And, as always, email will be the main source of communication from the University. So be sure to check it!
Compete the pre-registration form to receive a vaccine on campus.
As the University gets vaccines from New York State and Onondaga County, those who register will be notified once appointments are available.
Continue practicing public health guidelines.
Even when you’re fully vaccinated (two weeks after your final dose), you should continue do your part to keep others safe and stop the spread. Make sure to continue to wear your mask, social distance, avoid crowds and follow the Stay Safe Pledge. The Stay Safe Pledge and any additional University guidance will continue to be the expectation for us to follow.
Stay Safe. Stay Healthy. Do Your Part. Get Vaccinated!
