Prioritizing our health and well-being is always important for a successful and impactful college experience, but this semester, it’s critical to our success. Luckily, there are resources to help! The staff at the Barnes Center at The Arch are here to ensure we have access to services, programs and activities, whether we’re online or in-person. That hasn’t changed, even if a few of their operations have this semester. Be sure to explore the Barnes Center Fall 2020 webpage to know what’s happening this semester!
TL;DR? Here are the 5 things you need to know!
Appointments and Reservations
Unless you’re going to the Pharmacy, you need an appointment or reservation to enter the Barnes Center.
Appointments for Health Care and Counseling can be made by calling 315.443.8000. Reservations for Recreation and the Crowley Family MindSpa can be made using the Wellness Portal.
Once you have a confirmed appointment or reservation, be sure to enter in the right part of the building! For Recreation reservations, you’ll enter under the big metal awning off of Sims Drive, facing Carnegie Library. For Health Care, Counseling, Health Promotion (including the MindSpa and Meditation Room) and the Pharmacy, you’ll enter through the large wooden doors facing the Physics Building.
As always, don’t forget your mask!
Wellness Portal
Almost every program and activity, and fitness equipment, can be found and reserved within the Wellness Portal including:
