Syracuse University just launched a new and exciting app called ’Cuse Challenge. The app features a number of exciting challenges you can complete by attending specific events or going through particular experiences that enhance your lifestyle. The more challenges you complete, the more points you get; the more points you get, the higher you get on the leader board. So, here are the top five tips to be a top five leader from #1 on the leader board, Jenniviv Bansah ’22:
1. Use the calendar.
A surprising addition to the ’Cuse Challenge app is that it provides you with an updated calendar for almost all events happening on campus. Don’t know what to do for the weekend? Download ’Cuse Challenge and discover the various events happening on campus every day. Let’s not forget: it is also a great way to knock out some of the challenges and be on your way to the top five.
2. Take pics! Or it didn’t happen.
In the technological world we now live in, our instinct is to take pictures of everything, and to look back on them in the future. Using ’Cuse Challenge, your instinct is valued and appreciated. Not only do you get to move up the leader board when you take pictures and post, but you also get to show off your amazing and brag-worthy adventures and experiences. Experiences last, but pictures last longer.
3. Abide by the Buddy System.
Completing challenges are always fun, but you know what makes it even better? Having someone to do it with! A buddy system is an informal arrangement in which two people come together to help each other have a better, more exciting, fun experience. Make a friend by going to the events listed in the app calendar; develop your own personalized form of a buddy system; take your most creative pictures, and build your unforgettable experience. You might find yourself completing most challenges on the app, and before you know it, you will have a lot of experiences and pictures to help you move up the challenge ladder.
4. Eyes on the prize.
Want to be top five? Ask yourself why! Is it for the swag, the bragging rights, or the prizes? ’Cuse Challenge gifts you with prizes as you complete challenges. The more challenges you do, the more prizes you get! Plus, you get to own your swag since your name appears on the leader board for everyone to see.
5. Have fun with it!
Though becoming top five leaders on ’Cuse Challenge is important, having fun and living your best life while doing these challenges is just as important. When you have fun, you document it, and by the time you know, you are one of the top 5 on the leader board. The ’Cuse Challenge app is very similar to Instagram, which means you have an everlasting timeline. Lastly, the challenge is something to look back on so let that be your motivation to create a versatile profile of yourself.
Cuse Challenge gives you an opportunity to experience the wonders of Syracuse University, while gaining points, moving up the leader board, and winning prizes.
