Karen Zannini Bull, Ph.D., is the associate dean of academic affairs at University College of Syracuse University and served as the director of online education from 2013-2016. Prior to her appointment at Syracuse University, Bull served two roles at Onondaga Community College; the assistant director of distance education from 2010-2012 and the director of program evaluation from 2012-2013. Outside of Syracuse University, she promotes academic excellence and lifelong learning through her service on the Rosamond Gifford Zoo education committee, her role as chair of the board for the Mid-Atlantic Region of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA), and her work as a board member for Literacy CNY. Bull is an assistant adjunct professor in the Masters of Science in Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction department at the New York Chiropractic College. Bull holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from the School of Education at Syracuse University. She holds a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from the University of Maine at Orono and a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Allegheny College.
