First-Year and Transfer Programs, Learning Communities and Health Promotion Relocating
As announced this semester and as part of the Invest Syracuse initiative to advance the student experience, the Counseling Center has extended hours and will increase staffing to enhance mental health services on campus—part of broader efforts to strengthen and increase access to health and wellness services. With adding new staff members, plans are underway to create a satellite office for the Counseling Center at 111 Waverly Ave.
To begin preparing the space for the satellite office, the Division of Enrollment and the Student Experience, in partnership with Campus Planning, Design and Construction, has worked to relocate offices currently within 111 Waverly Ave.
When students return from spring break, the following offices will be at new locations:
- Office of First-Year and Transfer Programs—Schine Student Center, Suite 235
- Office of Learning Communities—Schine Student Center, Suite 235
- Office of Health Promotion—804 University Ave., Suite 110 (previously Syracuse University Ambulance)
Signage will be posted throughout the buildings to direct students to the new locations.
An announcement will follow when the Counseling Center satellite office is opened.
