MLK Community Celebration Honors Dr. King on Saturday, Feb. 10

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration will be held Saturday at Dr. King Elementary School in Syracuse.

Syracuse University and Dr. King Elementary School in the Syracuse City School District will present the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 10:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Dr. King School, 416 E. Raynor Avenue.

The event, free and open to the public, is a celebration of King’s life and legacy. It will include family-focused workshops, performances and awards presentations. A keynote address will be offered by Syracuse Deputy Mayor Sharon Owens.
