Syracuse Stage and the Department of Drama team up with New York City-based 2 Ring Circus to put an acrobatic spin on the beloved family favorite “The Wizard of Oz.” Based on the original novel by L. Frank Baum and the 1939 MGM Motion Picture, this stage adaptation contains the familiar characters and popular songs such as “Over the Rainbow” and “We’re Off to See the Wizard (Follow the Yellow Brick Road).” The production runs Nov. 29, 2017 through Jan. 7, 2018, in the Archbold Theatre at the Syracuse Stage/SU Drama Complex, 820 E. Genesee St.
Tickets to the Dec. 31 performance of “The Wizard of Oz” must be purchased separately. Tickets are available at www.SyracuseStage.org, by phone at 315.443.3275 and in person at the Box Office.
