Green Light a Vet
Beginning this week, Hendricks Chapel and the Hall of Languages will be bathed in green light in the evening. It’s all part of the University’s recognition of Veterans Day, and the Greenlight a Vet campaign.
The recognition is being done in conjunction with Walmart, which asks all Americans to show their support for veterans by switching their porch lights green as a visual symbol of support and show of appreciation for the men and women in our communities, and their families, who sacrificed to keep the country safe. As part of this effort, the exteriors of Hendricks Chapel and the Hall of Languages on campus are bathed in green for the week.
