Golden Key Will Honor New Student and Honorary Members on Sunday
The Syracuse University Chapter of Golden Key International Honour Society will hold its annual induction ceremony, the New Member Recognition Event, on Sunday, No. 15, at 3 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel. Undergraduate and graduate students who are in the top 15 percent of all students at the University based on GPA are invited to join Golden Key.
The organization will also induct two new honorary members from the University community: Lynda Mason, director of graduate admissions, and Donald Maitland, security coordinator at the bookstore. Both have been very supportive of the chapter’s activities.
The keynote speaker this year will be Bea González, dean of University College and special assistant to the Chancellor. González has been an honorary member of Golden Key since 2005.
