Meyer to Perform at Eastman School
Ken Meyer, part-time instructor of guitar in the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music, will perform Joaquin Rodrigo’s challenging composition “Tonadilla” for two guitars with Eastman School of Music guitar professor Nicholas Goluses as part of the Rochester Fringe Festival. The performance is part of a concert titled Extreme Guitar performed by Goluses and takes place Monday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m. in Kilbourn Hall at the Eastman School of Music.
Meyer, who holds a doctor of musical arts degree from Eastman, was also recently invited to assist in Goluses’ sabbatical and will serve on the faculty of the Eastman School later this academic year.
