Diversity Law Day at Syracuse University College of Law
Syracuse University College of Law and the Law School Admission Council will be co-sponsoring Diversity Law Day on Thursday, Feb. 26. This program is part of the DiscoverLaw.org initiative targeting students from racial and ethnic groups underrepresented in the legal profession.
The event will take place in the new state-of-the-art Syracuse Law building, Dineen Hall, from 9:30am-1 p.m. Syracuse Law will host city high schools, undergraduate students, guidance counselors and pre-law advisors from the surrounding area. The tentative agenda will include a question-and-answer student panel session, a mock trial court case and the opportunity to network with College of Law students, staff and faculty over lunch.
Previously, Diversity Law Day hosted approximately 90 students from area high schools and Syracuse University and SUNY Oswego.
If interested in learning more about this program, or to receive a full agenda, please contact the Syracuse Law Admissions Office at 315-443-1962 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
