Art Daily reported the Archives of American Art contributed more than 1,350 digital images to the Marcel Breuer Digital Archive at the Syracuse University Library, a collaborative effort headed by the Library to digitize drawings and other materials related to the early career of Breuer, an influential 20th century architect and furniture designer. Partner institutions in the Breuer project include the Bauhaus-Archiv, Stiftung Bauhaus Dessau, the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, Harvard University, the Smithsonian Archives of American Art, the University of East Anglia and the Vitra Design Museum.
Syracuse.com noted William C. Dudley, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, will visit the SU campus Thursday to speak with students and faculty at the Maxwell School, discussing regional and national economic conditions.

A U.S. News & World Report article about shrinking funding for the Long Term Ecological Research sites around the United States and Antarctica quotes Charles T. Driscoll, University Professor of Environmental Systems Engineering in the L.C.
