Syracuse University’s Stacey Keefe and Raymond Toenniessen were recognized with “40 Under Forty” awards at a Nov. 30 event at the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center in Syracuse. The awards acknowledge the region’s top professionals under the age of 40 for their accomplishments and community involvement.
SU’s Whitman School of Management serves as presenting sponsor of the awards, which are produced by BizEventz. Sponsors are SRC, Gilroy, Kernan & Gilroy, Visual Technologies Corp. and the Cooley Group Inc., with media sponsors the Central New York-Mohawk Valley-Greater Binghamton Business Journals, YNN and TK99.
“The Whitman School is a proud presenting sponsor of the ‘40 Under Forty’ Awards. We are so pleased to recognize the 2011 award recipients, including SU’s own Ray Toenniessen and Stacey Keefe. We are thrilled to support all of these wonderful individuals for their leadership and congratulate them on being inspirations to their peers, hometown and workplace communities and the greater Syracuse area,” says Whitman Dean Melvin T. Stith.
