Galapagos Magma Chambers
The Department of Earth Sciences presents the fall 2011 K. Douglas Nelson Lecture Series, this week featuring Dennis Geist from University of Idaho. His title is “Galapagos Magma Chambers.”
The lecture will be on Thursday, October 6, at 4pm in room 113, Heroy Geology Lab; refreshments will be served. Anyone wishing to meet with Geist can contact his host, Professor Jeffrey Karson. The University community and public are welcome to attend.
