Former U.S. Army Chaplain at Guantanamo Bay to speak this Thursday
James Yee (http://www.time.com/time/beyond911/#JamesYee), a graduate of West
Point Military Academy, and former U.S. Army Muslim Chaplain at Guantanamo Bay, will speak about his experience at Guantanamo and his struggle for justice during his imprisonment in 2003 while being falsely accused of spying, espionage and aiding the enemy.
Lecture will be held in Life Sciences Complex Room 105 at 7 PM this
Thursday, Sept. 22.
Refreshments will be available at the event and there will be a book signing of Chaplain Yee’s first hand account of Guantanamo, “For God and Country: Faith and Patriotism Under Fire.”
