Searchin’ for an Answer: Generating Texts from Keywords
Consultants from the Writing Center and specialists from Bird Library will work with undergraduate students to develop fundamental, timesaving research strategies. Attendees will learn how to produce and expand a list of essential keywords using web
sites and test them using common operators in library databases. They will then learn how to trace and map their sources in order to understand how texts circulate.
Space is limited! Register for this workshop by contacting the Writing Center during our normal business hours (Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m to 5 p.m.). You may call (443-5289) or chat with us directly from our website (http://wc.syr.edu).
