The Concordia Sentinel (Ferriday, La.) reports on the discovery of new documents by SU’s Cold Case Justice Initiative and the SU Law students that helped create a new lead for an unsolved, racially motivated murder case of 1964. Technorati reported on MacArthur Foundation funding for the Reference Extract, a project to make it easier to find credible information in the digital age. SU’s iSchool is part of the Reference Extract collaboration.
Kathy Vander Werff, assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in The College of Arts and Sciences, was featured in a recent issue of Audiology Today, a publication of the American Academy of Audiology. The story was included as an AAA Foundation’s Research Spotlight and featured Vander Werff’s research on traumatic brain injury.
