Office of University Lectures seeks speaker recommendations for 2011-12 season
The Office of University Lectures is currently seeking recommendations for speakers for the 2011-12 season.
University Lectures is a cross-disciplinary lecture series that brings to the University individuals of exceptional accomplishment. The series is supported by the generosity of the University’s trustees, alumni and friends. All lectures are free and open to the public.
Previous lecturers have included astrophysicist Neil de Grasse Tyson, architect Maya Lin, environmentalist Amory Lovins, author Khaled Hosseni, economist Muhammad Yunus and photographer Annie Leibovitz.
Recommendations may be e-mailed to Esther Gray in the Office of Academic Affairs at firstname.lastname@example.org. Recommended speakers should be able to garner wide interest among the Syracuse University and greater Syracuse communities and have demonstrated appeal across disciplines.
