Cows for sale: Syracuse Stage presents events, partnerships, lobby display for ‘Tales from the Salt City’
For the run of “Tales from the Salt City,” Syracuse Stage has partnered with several organizations to celebrate local culture. A highlight will be the selling of miniature clay cows, for which all proceeds will be donated to a fund for the Lost Boys of Sudan. “Tales from the Salt City” will run through Nov. 4 at Syracuse Stage. The following is a complete list of events and partnerships:
- Saturday, Oct. 18-40 Below Summit: Arts & Entertainment. A backstage tour will begin at 2 p.m. (tickets for Summit participants available on Oct. 18 at Stage’s box office).
- Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 1 p.m.-StageTalk: Nottingham Lecture Series on “The Making of Tales from the Salt City.” Presented by Kyle Bass, Dramaturg for “Tales.” Sutton Pavilion at Syracuse Stage. Free and open to the public.
- Sunday, Nov. 2, after the 2 p.m. performance-StageTalk: “Finding Home, Migration to Syracuse.” Sutton Pavilion at Syracuse Stage. Free and open to the public.
