Syracuse University’s Joe and Emily Lowe Art Gallery will present the annual “School of Art & Design Faculty Exhibition” from Oct. 31-Nov. 21. The Lowe Gallery is located in the Shaffer Art Building. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
The Faculty Exhibition features more than 70 works by 36 current SU professors from departments and programs such as fashion and design technologies, visual communication, sculpture, painting, museum studies, ceramics, art education and advertising design. Various styles and media are presented, creating a diverse survey of the faculty’s work.
An opening reception will be held Oct. 31 from 3-5 p.m. in the Shaffer Art Building Galleria.
The Joe and Emily Lowe Art Gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday, noon-5 p.m., and Wednesday noon-8 p.m. The Gallery is closed on Mondays. For more information call (315) 443-3127.
