Syracuse University’s Linguistic Studies Program and the Department of Languages, Literatures and Linguistics (LLL) in The College of Arts and Sciences will sponsor a lecture by Edward Gibson, professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, on Friday, Nov. 21.
The lecture will begin at 4 p.m. in Room 107 of the Hall of Languages and is free and open to the public.
Gibson is a faculty member in MIT’s Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and Department of Linguistics and Philosophy. He will speak on “Resource Demands and Sentence Complexity.”
